FAQ

Driver questions, answered fast

Do I need port experience?

Port experience is preferred, but recruiting reviews each driver individually. A valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record are the starting point.

Do I need a TWIC card before applying?

A TWIC card is preferred. If yours is in progress, apply anyway and note that on the form.

Can owner-operators apply?

Yes. DCS-AMEZ accepts both company driver and owner-operator applications for active port markets.

When will I hear back?

Recruiting aims to call or text quickly after a complete quick apply submission, often the same business day.
